The Board of Health is under the purview of the governing body. The meetings of the Mayor and Council are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Public Comment on matters concerning board of health matters can be made at these meetings.

• Retail Food Handler Licensing:

All businesses preparing and/or selling food items to include all prepackaged food items (water, candy etc.) are required to file for RFHL annually no later than August 1^st of each year. -click here

• Dog Licensing and Animal Control:

Dog licensing is required annually after January 1st of each year. Proof of rabies vaccination through November of licensing year is required.
Regular License: $10
NON Spayed or neutered: $13.00
*Proof of spaying/neutering required for initial license to avoid additional $3 fee.
*Failure to license with result in $5 per month late fee applied after February 10th of the licensing year-click here
