The existence of these various bodies is provided for in the Borough’s General Code of Ordinances.
Council members are elected at the general election as terms expire. The governing body designates a Council Liaison to each group to ensure that there is communication and coordination among the boards and committees with respect to Borough policies and initiatives. Committee members are appointed to open positions each year at the Council’s reorganization meeting.
